It is now time to inform our Justice System to take immediate actions on those continuing to exploit or kill women or our girls’ children for their witch craft and or selfish reasons.

These killers need death sentences hanging on their heads.

It was Monday December 13, 2010 at 4:00 AM when little Patience Nyantee age 5, was brutally murder by her aunt husband reason that he give L$2,000.00 to his wife Ester to do business. When he asks her to give account about the business, he could not understand anything. He later got frustrated and started beating her until she escape the house and left innocent Patience laying at sleep. The killer (Jerry Weah) took knife and slices the throat of the innocent babe after stifling her with a clothe in her month.

Two weeks ago, another murder case was reported and the victim was a female. She met her untimely death because her husband (John Kollie) suspects her of having extra relationship.

In 2008, a guy by the name Hence Williams, wife brutally murder her niece reasons that her niece was involve into sexual intercourse with her husband. Little Angel Togbah age 13 was kill in cold blood denying her, her fundamental rights to live.

These acts of madness are highly condemned. Life imprisonment is not a punishment for such a crime.

Violence against women is still easily seen around the world. We need to urge world leaders to take relevant actions against perpetrators caught in this act according to their crime committed.

The story of Hence Williams and his wife that took the life of Little Angel Togbah age 13 in 2008 still continues.

The couples were condemned by law to death and because no action was taken up to date, this act on women continues.

Women and people of Liberia should take into account that if nothing is done to stop this, more innocent babes and women will lose their life’s to these evil doers.

Girls Education Movement is a youth run initiative aim at promoting girls education in all forms and fighting for the rights of women is calling on all Women groups in and around Liberia, our International Partners in the fight for women rights to Petition the Ellen Johnson Sirleaf led Government to take serious actions on these perpetrators.

They too are Liberians and their rights to live have been abused.

May their souls rest in peace as we struggles to bring down their perpetrators

In 2010 years after the Liberian civil war and the general elections which introduced the Millennium Development Goals (MDG’s), Anthony Fofana M.V. encountered the ability to bring youth together to help promote education, peace and love in schools, communities and the World at large. Anthony saw the need to create a program in order to help these kids in “CHANGING THE WORLD WITH LOVE!!” through Sports and Education, etc.

The youths attended the daily event at the play ground in Paynesville, ELBC Community. He later established One Heart Organization that sought to create other skill-building opportunities for youth’s in Liberia. From its beginnings, One Heart Organization worked with other youths around the world to help bring their common goals together.

When pronounce the name One Heart, we pronounce it with Pride, Respect and Recognition for the individuals who accept to make move with other youth in what is positive, despite the barriers and challengers they face in life.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

One Heart Organization believes that youth have the potential to transform their own lives when given non-judgmental support to develop skills, make choices, and access opportunities.

With our Sponsors, we engage youths on their turf, empower them to explore opportunities to meet their basic needs and realize their potential, and foster a positive shift in the way they’re regarded by their communities and among their peer groups.

Here we have reach the most Important factor that is effecting our children in Africa, especially Liberia, we see there is no means for our children to get good education, no library to further up there studies and lack of parental care; in the sense the parents don’t have the time to teach there children or to educate their children about the Importance of Education.

Right now in Liberia the girls are finding it hard to go to attend schools because they have no means to get schools fees and to help there self in schools, some of them are on there own, self sponsors. This has result to girls in the street as prostitute, and doing things that they are not really wanting to do.

This Organization has decided to have a new way to help these kind of people, first we are going to use the best method of getting them to understand that they can be someone better with out the help of their parents, as we define education. Education is a continuous and creative process whose aim is to develop the capacities in human nature. It is possible to achieve an essential harmony between faith and reason through education. Educated person should understand their positions as member of both a local community and world community. Education has an immense effect on the human society and a person is not in the proper sense till he is educated. Infect, man becomes a rational animal when he is educated. An uneducated person cannot read and write and therefore he is closed all knowledge and wisdom that he can get through education. With our girls been educated, we can make our nation a better place. We can make a better nation, and the world will be a better place.
